We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving despite being sequestered. We have been working diligently during pre-production to get everything ready for our shoot dates next month. COVID, of course, has us jumping through additional hoops in order to keep the sets safe and compliant.
We are now almost fully cast with some amazingly talented people.
Of course, we have Walter and Nichelle playing the catalyst roles as Prof. Steiner and Ominara. They are rivals, with Walter taking on the role of the villain.
Johnny Jay Lee of Station 19, will be playing a younger version of Walter, while Loren Lott from the Young and Restless and American Idol will be playing Nichelle's younger counterpart.
Chalet Lizzette Brannan from Tinker, For Nothing, and the upcoming Peter Pan, The Land of Forever, along with Jackie Jacobson from Netflix's Malibu Rescue, will be playing Ominara's longtime friends, cohorts, and partners in crime. We can't have Renegades without a little intergalactic crime.
We are really excited to be back on the Icarus bridge set for a portion of this production. We are scheduled to shoot on Dec 19th and 20th with additional dates coming early in 2021. This story will explain the origins of Ominara and the causes of her rivalry with Prof. Steiner that will span the remainder of the series.

Hi, Renegade,
Production is moving along. It seems that there are a bunch of productions happening in November here in Los Angeles, so we had to move production dates back to mid-December to get some of the locations we need. The good news is, even on this tiny budget, we are going to make a deal to have the Icarus interior in the production. I'm very excited to be back on that set at Laurel Canyon Studios.

Currently, we are casting our younger versions of Ominara (Nichelle Nichols) and Steiner (Walter Koenig) as well as speaking with a possible director. Costumes and props are getting done as we speak and we will be sharing it all with you once we get closer to production and lock down our dates.

Thank you for making Renegades: Ominara a reality! A few things need to happen before we can kick off production and eventual fulfillment.
Here's a quick rundown:
You will be receiving a link to the pledge manager this week. We’ll send out a BackerKit survey to collect your shipping information, verify your pledge and allow you to add any additional products you would like.
Watch for it in your inbox. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey. The invitation email contains a link to your personal survey. It is important to submit your responses as quickly as you can since we need this information to process your rewards.
If you need to change your survey responses, purchase add-on items, or update your shipping information, you can click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page.

Thank you all so much for your valiant effort and tremendous support. We unlocked a bunch of stretch goals. Below is the artwork that goes to the manufacturing plant for the Renegades Pin that was sent to us by Fansets. It's pretty awesome!
Also, if you want to upgrade your perk, or add additional products to your perk, then you will have ample opportunity to do so. For fulfillment, we will be working with a company called Backerkit. You'll be receiving an email with a link to the survey within a couple of weeks. There you can add products to your pledge, or if donated additional money, then you'll be able to assign that credit to the products you want. It's all very simple and allows us to easily export for shipping purposes.

Hi there, Renegades Fans.
We are doing awesome! This campaign is a runaway train that cannot be stopped and it's thanks to all of you. We appreciate your continued sharing of the campaign on social media with your friends and family. We've smashed through another Stretch Goal. We will now have a behind the scenes videographer on set that will conduct interviews of the cast and will be provided to all of our donors through a dropbox link and will be sent as soon a production is completed. Excited stuff!
